A spell for luck for loved ones by Heather

It is wonderful when loved ones ask us to perform or give them a spell to help them with something.  However, don’t presume that all loved ones want you to do this.  Check with them first if they haven’t asked you, so you are supporting them, not imposing your will onto them.

What would be especially powerful, is if you can do the spell together.   Their energy will infuse the preparation and the working, adding to its power for them.

Candle – white, green, red, gold, blue, or their favourite colour

Candle holder matches or lighter.

Herbs – clover, heather, basil, holly, marigold, nutmeg, poppy, rose, star anise, sunflower

Symbols – four-leaf clover, horseshoe

Rune – Gebo, Fehu, Uruz, Thurisaz, Pertho, Berkana

Ogham – Dair/Oak, Tinne/Holly, Coll/Hazel, Ur/Heather

Tarot card – The World, The Star, Wheel of Fortune

Oracle card – one that resonates with you and your intention.

Crystals – amethyst, carnelian, green aventurine, labradorite, lapis lazuli, rose quartz, sunstone, tiger’s eye.

Petition – write this in blue, green or red ink.  You could also print out a picture of the tarot card and write your petition on this.

Other items – pictures of your loved one, or something belonging to them.  If they have a piece of jewellery they always wear, you could enchant this for them.  Add any items to the spell working which your intuition, or your loved one, nudges you to include.

Chant –

I feel the magic of my spell craft grow,

To bring my loved one luck needed now,

Good fortune to them this energy will bestow,

To continue as they want, as above and so below!
