As long as I can remember, we have always held rituals here at KW. I attended my first in person ritual with KW at Bottom Field, I believe, in September 2012.
Fast forward to June 2019 and we held our Rainbow ritual at Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
Little did we know that less than a year later, Covid would wreak it's havoc around the globe. Everything came to a standstill including our wonderful get togethers in the sunshine (yep, downpours halted our rituals on more than one occasion and we resorted to eating cake and nattering in the Country Park Cafe).
We wanted to keep in touch with people during those awful times and Rachel started her weekly chat to keep up the moral of people and it was a way of connecting with those that we could no longer, at that time, meet in person. We also started our Waffling Witches chat as a chance for all of us to go online and just spend an hour 'waffling' about all things witchy, pagan or just to pull up a chair, pop the kettle on and chatting about what had come into our heads that day.
Our rituals also became an online event. But we discovered that this time, people from all across the miles were joining us from New Zealand to America and Canada, Germany, Spain and France as well as those from our shores.
Our online rituals are popular and it has been great to connect with so many like-minded folk. They have been running regularly since then and we have covered all sorts of subjects and honoured a huge number of deities. We have had so much fun (the Gods also have a sense of humour - they need to with us) but something this year has shifted at KW.
We always do a reading at the beginning of the year to see what is in store for us and the word CHANGE stepped out of the cards, runes and bones. I put capital letters because things have been happening and they are huge!
We decided to go with the flow and shake things up a little going forwards into 2027.
Our last ritual for Elen will be September 25th 2026 and we will be bringing you something completely new!
Saturday 28th November 2026 from 6-8pm we will be hosting our Magical Mayhem series of talks. The first one is a Winter Special, so we will be discussing the season of winter and everything related to it. During this two hours, you will have opportunity to ask questions and also to share your thoughts on what the winter season means to you. As always, there will be laughter, and of course mayhem, because that just happens when we are together and what makes us who we are.

ps - the online rituals are just having a bit of a rest for now, they may be back again, but for now, we are following the threads of the web of wyrd.
