We are blessed to have the choices of so many pagan camps to choose from. I have been lucky to be able to attend several this year as KW with Rachel and Ness, and also as a guardian of Temple of Elen.
A small intimate camp had its first weekend in 2025, which I was unable to attend. I was very excited to be able to get to Rewilding the Witch in St Osyth, Essex this year.
Organised by Sheena and Ian Cundy with Amanda Statham, the premise is to spend the weekend exploring techniques for rewilding ourselves and our witchcraft.
It is set in the most gorgeous woodland, surrounded by wildflower meadows owned by Amanda’s husband, Hippy, who tends lovingly to this area of land.
This enables the camp to provide opportunities to reconnect with ourselves, to discover ways to honour the earth in our everyday lives, utilise and trust our inner power and intuition, together with building community and connections with like-minded people.

There were workshops and talks on subjects such as foraging, cacao, drumming, yoga, local history, ecology, Lyz Le Fay gave a workshop on singing and chanting, whilst Helen Conway gave a belly dancing workshop. Both of them, with Sheena and Ian, entertained us all round the campfire in the evening, together with a very talented storyteller.
The whole weekend was magical, energising and inspirational. The land welcomed us, there was a tremendous amount of Otherworld activity felt and almost seen.
Thank you to Hippy, Sheena, Ian and Amanda for all the hard work and love that they poured into this event.
