We will connect to our sacred space; everyone is welcome to join in with us. Take three long deep breaths.
Standing or sitting, with both hands on your heart and say, "From my heart”, stretching both hands into the air, say "To the sky”.
Putting both hands on or facing down to the earth, as close to it as you can get, say "To the land”.
Putting both hands on your heart, say "To my heart”.
Leaving both hands on your heart, say "From my heart”, reaching out your right hand, "To all points on the compass"
Reach out your left hand and place your right hand on your heart and say, "To all directions”.
Putting both hands on your heart, say "To my heart”.
Spring Equinox
The spring equinox bringing us out of winter and officially starting the season of spring. It is a good time to work magic for harmony, balance and fertility,
The word equinox comes from Latin and means equality of night and day. So, the equinox occurs at two specific moments in time when the sun is exactly above the equator. In the northern hemisphere, the spring, or vernal equinox happens around March 21, when the sun moves north across the celestial equator.
The equinox has been attributed to several interesting bogus ideas, including that on the equinox you can balance an egg effortlessly on its end (if egg balancing is a skill you want to develop, you can practice any day of the year).
The character of the Easter bunny first appeared in 16th-century German writings, which said that if well-behaved children built a nest out of their caps or bonnets, they would be rewarded with coloured eggs left in the night by an Easter Hare.
The rabbit magic is associated with fertility, as well as protection, good luck, family, community, ancestors and shadow/underworld workings.
Symbolic meanings of rabbits are:
Fertility, abundance, stillness, unpredictability, divination, survival instincts, psychic senses, shapeshifting, speedy action, trickster, wit.
Pipe Cleaner Bunnies
What you need:
Pipe cleaners
Glue
Eyes
Pom Poms/buttons for a nose and a tail.
How to make leaning pipe cleaner bunnies:
Tightly wrap a 12″ pipe cleaner around a cylindrical object like a pen or marker. Fold a second pipe cleaner in half and then bend back each side into a letter M (these will be your bunny ears).
Stick the letter M pipe cleaner through your coil.
Fold over the bottoms of the letter M into little bunny feet. You make have to adjust them a few times until your bunny stands upright.
Fold over the ears a little bit, and attach your bunny nose, tail, and eyes with glue.
Eat, drink and chat.
