Take 4 pebbles, one for each element - Earth, Air, Fire and water and place them on your altar. You can paint symbols that represent the elements onto them if you want, but it's not necessary.
Charge each pebble with the properties of the element it represents, saying something like:
' I charge this stone with the element of Earth, may it bring fertility and growth to my garden'
'I charge this stone with the element of Air, may it bring new life and tranquillity to my garden'
'I charge this stone with the element of Fire, may it bring transformation and positive energy to my garden'
'I charge this stone with the element of water, may it bring healing and love to my garden'
When you feel that each stone is fully charged, take them into your garden and bury or place each one in its appropriate compass point. Starting with - Earth in the North, Air in the East, Fire in the South and Water in the West, then carry on round your garden until they are all buried or in place.
Stand in the centre of your garden. Close your eyes, take three slow deep breathes, feel your connection to your garden and say something like:
' I bless this garden with the elements, may all that grow here be strong and healthy a place of peace and harmony happiness and joy. So mote it be! '
