One of the best ways to use candle magic is for healing, for yourself and for others, but make sure if it is someone else, that they want healing sent to them.
Below are suggestions of what to use for this spell, as always go with your intuition and what you already have in your cupboards.
Choose your candle – white, blue, green, pink, red.
Oil – olive.
Herbs - yarrow, bay, fennel, ginger, juniper, mint, mugwort, rose, rosemary, thyme – or one that means health/healing to you.
Symbol/Rune/Ogham – heart, circle, Uruz, Sowilo, Luis, Saille, Duir, nGétal.
Write your petition in blue or green ink, perhaps use an old prescription, or write the petition on the back of a photo of the person.
Lunar phase – waxing or full to being healing; waning moon to dispel illness.
Solar phase – sunrise up to midday to bring good health; afternoon to sunset to dispel illness.
Tarot card – strength, The World, The Magician, The Sun, The Star, The Empress, The Chariot, Judgement, Three of Cups.
Oracle card – one that resonates with you for healing.
Crystal – agate, amber, bloodstone, Citrine, fluorite, green aventurine, hematite, jasper, labradorite, malachite, moonstone, quartz, rose quartz, selenite, sunstone, tiger’s eye.
If you can get a bottle, or a container. of a medication currently being taken, place this by the candle. Alternatively use a pot of vitamins or herbal supplements.
