This ritual is all about bringing abundance and wealth to you, get your manifesting power on!
You will need:
Representations for the four quarters, if using
Central candle for deity, if using
Matches or lighter Safe holders for the candles, if using
Something to eat and drink
For the spell:
A white candle
Four green, gold or orange candles
A compass (or compass app on your phone)
A gold or silver coin
Cast the circle
Walking deosil (clockwise) around the circle.
With the power of the Moon
I cast this circle to attune
Magic creating a boundary to last
This Moon circle is now cast
Call the quarters
Facing North
I call upon the element of earth
May you bring your energy of grounding and stability to this rite
Earth, I welcome you
Facing East
I call upon the element of air
May you bring your energy of intellect and inspiration to this rite
Air, I welcome you
Facing South
I call upon the element of fire,
May you bring your energy of passion and power to this rite
Fire, I welcome you
Facing West
I call upon the element of water,
May you bring your energy of emotions and cleansing to this rite
Water, I welcome you
Deity
Facing centre
I call upon the fruitful and practical goddess Ops
And ask that you bring the energy of abundance, prosperity and
manifesting to this rite.
Ops, I honour your presence
Spell work:
The white candle represents you and ‘the all’. Green uses colour magic to represent prosperity and money. The compass is used to find the directions but also symbolises your own direction in life. The coin does what is says…it represents money and prosperity.
We will be working with the four compass directions; North, South, East and West these all have meaning:
North – finances, stability and material matters
East – intellect and inspiration
South – passion and energy
West – Emotions, intuition and releasing
Place your white candle in the centre of a safe level space. Use your compass (or compass app) to ascertain the four directions of North, South, East and West. Place a green candle at each of the four directions, in a square around the main white candle.
Place the coin between the white candle and the green candle in the North. Light the white candle. Say this chant or one of your own, three times out loud. At the end of each chant turn the coin over.
Drawing magic from the waxing crescent Moon
Bring to me, fresh opportunities and new money soon
As I turn this gold/silver coin around
Prosperity and financial security to me in abounds
Then starting with the green candle in the North, light all four
saying at each direction:
Waxing crescent Moon money arrive in from the North
Waxing crescent Moon money blow in from the East
Waxing crescent Moon money blast in from the South
Waxing crescent Moon money wash in from the West
Sit quietly watching the flames and visualise money flowing to you and doors opening for new opportunities. Finish by saying “make it so”. Extinguish the candles and pop the coin in your purse.
Feast:
Eat and drink something to celebrate your ritual and to help you ground. Sprinkle some of the drink and food onto the earth after the ritual as an offering to deity.
