I had a couple of days in Glastonbury at the end of September, a town renowned for its eccentricity, with a unique energy like no other. This is possibly due to it being situated on ley lines, being the reputed heart chakra of the earth, possibly the site of King Arthur's grave, the hills forming the shape of a resting goddess, as well as the variety of inhabitants.
Walking up the Tor early before it gets too busy is one of my personal goals each time I visit, it is always surprising who you meet making the same journey!

Attending The Wytches Market to assist the talented artist Suzi Edwards-Goose, is always busy and so much fun.
The fabulous organisers of this event, who are also artists and traders themselves, ensure all the traders are comfortable, supporting those whose work is original, making the market totally different from the more commercial items available in the high street. This makes for a supportive community, coming together to greet friends old and new, who come to enjoy the atmosphere, as well as to purchase something unique for their craft. The café is run by the wonderful Lords of the Wildwoods, supplying hot food, soups, drinks and whose cakes are sublime!
Maybe we’ll meet on the walk up the Tor or at the next market!
