How to Undo a Binding Spell by Heather

If it is one of your own spells, it is relatively simple to release the person, by reversing/undoing what you did. For a knot spell, undoing each knot and saying, ‘Name of person …I unbind you’. If a freezer spell, thaw them out, the paper will usually disintegrate spontaneously.

However, what do you need to do if you feel someone has put a binding onto you?

In her book, Spells and Charms, Rachel covers this with the following -

‘Some binding spells can cause physical effects. You might feel that you have invisible strands of hair or thin strings wrapped around you. You won’t be able see them, but you will feel them and nothing you do can make that sensation stop.’

Rachel then explains how you can dismiss a binding -

You will need:

A small piece of your own hair

3 candles – one red, one white and one green

Cauldron or fireproof bowl

Charcoal

Loose incense blend for releasing

Sterile pin

Light the three candles. In your cauldron light the charcoal and add the incense blend. Take the sterile pin and prick your right index finger, squeezing three drops of blood on top of the incense. Next drop in your piece of hair and say a chant:

My blood drops times three

This binding shall no longer be.

The hair that burns is part of me,

Allow me now to be bind free!

Let the incense burn out and scatter the ashes outside.

As always, go with your intuition as to what ingredients you might want to use in your incense, here are some suggestions –

Alexanders, birch, carnation, celandine, coriander, cypress, lungwort, self-heal, thyme, willow
