If you are able, wrap up, go outside, as long as it is safe. If you can't, have you a window you can open to see the Moon (it is considered bad luck to look at the New Moon through glass)!
This new moon is in the powerful sign of Capricorn, and is aligned with Venus and Mercury, so is a great time to make your wish for the coming year.
Greet the Moon and tell Her what your intentions are for the coming year.
